it, drag the System Folder and the Index.mum filedirectly onto your

http://downloads.olympus-europa.com/consumer/mrobe/m-trip/ENG/
mtrip_english.zip
aftertht
install the
firmwarehttp://www.olympusamerica.com/files/oima_cckb/MR100_FirmSysUp_213.exe..beforeinstalling
the firmware make sure tht u reset the player ..afterfollowing all the
instructions of the firmware try to synch the playerto check whether it
detects music and finally restart your m:robe totake effect..!!
Keeps displaying message database error please
The first thing I would do is charge the battery fully. Just leave in the cradle overnight. Next, do a blank sync with mtrip (just sync with no files selected). If you're still showing the database error, reflash the firmware and start over. If you're still showing the empty battery...buy a new battery. They're available on ebay.http://www.mrobe.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1181&start=30

Replacement Battery
Hello kstnf,
The battery for the Insignia Pilot MP3 player appears to be available from Best Buy Parts Search for $41 plus shipping. Go the
Best Buy Parts search website and search from the Model number of your MP3 player (which I believe is
NS-4V24). Or you can call 1-888-BestBuy to order.
Best Regards,
Ken

Odds are pretty good that the hard drive is messed up. This happened to me on 2 different zens. Can sent to Creative for repair, but if no warranty, then it would be easier to just buy a new one.
Erroe Code : 0400001F
There is an error with the HDD (Hard Drive)
It has either malfunctioned or the interface cable has been disconnected or not connected properly.
If the HDD still spins (listen for the spinup) then it has either malfunctioned or cable has not been connected properly.
Erroe Code : 0400001F
This error code is very hard to fix. You may end up having to send it back to Olympus or buy a new one. But here's a few things to try and you may get lucky.
Connect the remote, power on the player and hold down the heart, mode and play buttons on the remote at the same time. This re-sets the player.
If this doesn't work, remove the back cover. There are 4 small screws that hold the back plate on. Once the cover is removed, unplug the battery. Plug it back in after 30 seconds. The player should re-boot.
You can also try disconnecting the hard drive and reconnecting it. Unplug the battery before disconnecting the hard drive.
If none of these suggestions work, you may be out of luck. i know of no other ways to fix this error code.
My m:robe wont work at all!
If the screen doesnt even light up then you pretty much stuffed.
If battery isnt charging then the battery's life is gone. you cant really get another battery all you can do is remove it to prevent damage and use it plugged in.
Open the case by unscrewing the four screws (2on bottom and 2 on side)
move the HDD (hard disk) and take out battery and unplug
replace HDD and lid.

M:trip not responsive to m:robe
Mine did that to me a few times. One thing you could try is to make sure the driver is activated. Do this by using the start menu and clicking run. then type in msconfig. the go to the tab services, and make sure the program Mrobeservice is checked and running. Hope that helps!
