Keeps crashing because can't handle too many tasks at one time. I have the same problem. I have the same problem. Try the pin hole reset next to the HDMI input . Press in gently with a paper clip and hold for thirty seconds.

Google play? Try uninstalling updates. Disconnect from internet when not in use.

These tablets have lots of problems not easily solved because there are no firmware updates for this model.

You can DIY if you go to an art supply store & buy a piece of 8.5 x 11 piece of 25.ml thick clear plastic. this can be applied & reapplied or re-positioned as you need all you need to do is cut it to fit the entire front not just the screen so not to get rubbed up to easily. You may even find some at a Staples or Office Max. if you're lucky. Hope that helps!

Yep. This is a problem with this unit.

When it does a factory reset there is insufficient storage and that's why you can't download any apps. I haven't found out how to correct this and I have done the hard reset which is supposed to wipe everything and bring it back to factory specs but it doesn't. Everything you had is still there. To stop having to start each time I don't shut it down anymore. Just changed the sleep time to 5 minutes and let it go.

That's the only way you can use it. Other than chopping tomatoes on it or onions.

On top of it. The SD card also is inoperable when inserted because the settings stops working.

And my earphone plug doesn't work but the speakers do.

Deleting apps or disabling them does not seem to change the storage problem one bit.

It seems like the operating system is screwed up but I don't see anything on the Curtis website to replace it.

Try this. Plug your charger in. Then press the power button repeatedly until the screen comes up with a charge icon showing.
Hold the power button down until the blue screen comes up. Then if it boots up just leave the tablet alone and give it some time. You should see an android come up and then a scan of the android words start . This takes time. Don't be impatient . It may boot into a factory reset mode. Just start again with the factory screen.

You can try repeating the process if it doesn't work the first time.

You can charge your tablet through the USB port on your desktop computer. Just plug it in with the USB cable that came with your unit. It's slower charging but who cares?

Those pins are delicate. Be careful when inserting and removing.

The USB is designed to power on first and then the data is transferred.

Forget about taking it to a repair shop. The charges will be more than the tablet is worth and it's not likely they will have the part.

what browser are you using? It is not likely that you have antivirus running on android.

Your tablet may either be so low on power that it is non functional, or you may have to reset the tablet.
