type in hoagu4du when you get into system remove any passwords in the bootup. be sure to write this down it only works on your computer.

use an external cd/dvd rom. if it came on a cd this is 1 option.

For Dell password reset, you can use Windows Password Rescuer to help reset password easily. It can help reset Windows 8/7/Vista/XP/2008/2003/2000 administrator password quickly without logon. You also can use Password Recovery Bundle 2012to reset it.This Tool can recover password for Windows, Word, Excel, RAR etc.

If the inverter has failed, take the laptop to a computer repair shop (if its out of warranty) or ring Dell if its still in warranty.

If its very dark from power up and you cant read it, the backlight or inverter has failed inside the laptop lid. You can try turning the brightness up on the keyboard as per the manual but if it doesnt work then its definitely a backlight issue and will need an engineer to investigate/repair.

Click start control panel display change display settings adjust resolution this may vary depending on your operating system You should see a no 1 and a no 2 with detect and identify keep an eye on the screen when you select the number tabs this may vary depending on your operating system when you select the no 2 tab this should be the extended desktop always click apply after making any changes. if you are installing from a flash drive remove it from the system and let it complete on it's own once it actually gets to the set up screen all the files have been loaded to the hard drive and it should be able to proceed from there without any more issues , if you are installing from an external usb dvd or cdrom drive unplug that also
