Initial Actions: Check that all system grounds are secured Check the ambient room temperature Check the fan operation and vents If the problem persists, and you are trained on servicing this printer, then you can test the Printhead Reservoir temperature in the Service Diagnostics Reservoir Temperature test. It is either the Printhead itself or the wiring from the Printhead to its Electronics Module. This can be a very costly repair both in parts and labor.

To prevent these discharges, a Grounding Clip (P/N 650442700) was added between the Y-Axis Motor mount and the Pick Clutch. If you've modified one of the trays and still encounter the same error, it's worth checking if there are any obstructions in the paper path or if the default paper type and color settings need adjustment. Remove Jammed Paper From Tray 1: First, remove any paper from the Bypass Tray. Grasp both sides of the Bypass Tray and pull it straight out of the printer. Next, pull out Tray 1 until it stops. To remove the tray, lift the front of it slightly, then pull it out of the printer. Check for any jammed paper and remove it. Also, make sure there's no crumpled paper left in the tray or jammed inside the printer. If you have Tray 2 (optional), check it as well. Insert Tray 1 back into the printer and push it all the way in. Fully insert the Bypass Tray as well. Confirm the paper settings if prompted. Try your job again. Power the Printer Off then On: Press the Power/Wake button on the printer control panel. Choose "Power Off" to turn off the printer. Wait for a few seconds, then press the Power/Wake button again to turn it back on. Retry your print job. Replace the Paper Feed Roller (if needed): If the issue persists, consider replacing the paper feed roller. Refer to your printer's documentation for instructions on how to do this. If the problem continues, contact Xerox support.

That means there is no communication. There is a system error that is probably a fatal error. You could try updating the firmware.
