Onboard audio automaticly disabeled by video card
It sounds if it may be that you need to turn off the HDMI audio in the nVidia Control Panel. This can be accessed from either the system tray or by right clicking on the desktop. From the control panel, select "change resolution" under the "Display" heading and in the right panel select your display and you should find a drop down box under for the connecter, which will allow you to select HD audio disabled, then you can exit and save changes.

Hard disk gb maximum
Hello here is the homepage:
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3505#dlThe mainboard does not have a limit for the harddrive size. But the windows system sometimes have a limit especially windows xp.A new sata driver or a bios upgrade is sometimes needed when you add a big harddrive.
Note: take care not to flash the bios with a wrong one if needed. And also the new drive must be formatted ( in NTFS format ) before you can use it.If you still run windows xp, try to make more partitions, so windows can see the new drives.Other system like windows 7, does not have this limit.Good luck

1. check if your front panel is connected to your motherboard at proper port2. check "expert mode" on your via hd audio deck, click "advanced options" and check "redirected headphone" (THIS WILL UNCHECK "INDEPENDENT HEADPHONE") and uncheck "enable front panel jack detection"this should solve your problem.
