Hi

This means a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. heres about the cheapest solution to try goto www.marcone.com under contact us there is a 1800 number this is the cheapest appliance parts dealer and the largest in the world .Yes you can replace the ignitors and the leads would be termed as harnesses not quite sure what you are refering to switches that sit on top of gas valves though do you have a site or a picture also send your model number as well and when you goto marcone just get a quoted price from them and then check wolf as well the manufacturer if you have any further questions message me back and please remember when our chat has concluded to rank how this opinion has helped Thanks again Rick

p.s about the most reasonable path would be to take out the ol multimeter and assure that you have the same amount of voltage going to each ignitor in most ovens this is controled by a spark modulator you can also remove each ignitor and do continuity tests on them to assure they are functioning properly as well remember to message me back your model number

Hello- Wow-  Sounds like the failure of one of the elements.  Sometimes there's a bright arc welding flash with it too. Look inside oven with flash light and inspect elements. If one of them is burned through, then it must be replaced. In some instances, control boards and other circuits can also be affected, but most work just fine when the element is replaced.     Please acknowledge this posted solution if helpful.                                   Have more info if needed- thanks-  Ed

The oven would not work and gave a signal of F-1. Later in the day we tried it again and it worked. We don't know why. Thanks for your help.

Yes 1st off it sounds like you got no electric to unit! check it 1st!
if ok then its the spark module located on the back of the stove with all the wires going to it. box about 1"x4" long, either blue,black or white. You can get this at any appliance parts store or go to www.marcone.com with your model #

Error code A03. Replacement: XFT135 XFT135-0D06 2230482. Sensor issues or bad wiring is the usual cause.
