Hi,

• Remove the paper tray completely by pulling it out towards you.
• Now pull the jammed/stuck paper out gently.
• If you cannot remove the paper by the above procedures,open the printers front cover to access the cartridges assembly.
• Pull the cartridges assembly gently and slowly.This will come out together with the jammed paper.
• If jam not cleared,open the back cover and pull the tab outwards to access the fuser unit.Remove the stuck papers here.

Hi, Turn off the printer.Remove the paper tray completely out of the printer.look through for any stuck papers and remove them manually.You can also remove the front cover and inspect the interior.CAUTION! If the printer had been in use,some of its parts may be extremely hot!If this doesn't clear the jam,turn off the printer and the PC and unplug completely from power.Re-connect them after a few minutes.Hope this helps.Thanks!

NEWER MODLES HAVE A CARTRIGE ESTIMATING PROGRAM THAT NEEDS RESET (you need to tell the printer that it has a new cartrige). SIMPLY....
1. OPEN THE FRONT COVER.
2. TURN OFF.
3. HOLD DOWN THE GO BUTTON AND TURN BACK ON.
4. ONCE ALL 3 LIGHTS ARE SOLID, LET GO OF THE BUTTON & PRESS IT 2 TIMES RIGHT AWAY.
5. ALL LIGHTS SHOULD GO SOLID AGAIN, WHEN THEY DO PRESS THE GO BUTTEN 5 TIMES IN A ROW.

THIS SHOULD RESET YOUR PRINTER AND LET IT KNOW IT HAS A NEW CARTRIGE (even if it doesn't)!

Here is the drum counter reset procedure.

• The Drum LED continues to blink if the drum counter was not reset when you replaced the drum. To reset the drum follow the instructions below:

1. Open the front cover of the printer.

1. Press and hold down Go button for about 4 seconds until al the LEDs light up. Once all 4 LEDs are lit, release the Go button.

1. Close the front cover.

• Clean the printers drum.
• The drum is a light-sensitive rotating cylinder where latent images are created.It comes together with the printers toner package.
  
• If this doesn't solve it,have the drum replaced.

Remove the Toner Drum unit and look for a little blue tab. Slide it back and forth a couple of times to clean a corona wire and see if that helps.

its pretty easy!
power on the printer and when initialisation finishes, open the front cover (for toner/drum access), then press and hold the Go button until all lights on.then release, close the front cover.
