Do not try to depress the green lever, since you need to remove the cartridge AND its base altogether. Just grab the front middle part of the assembly, pull it out slowly and steadily. You may need to apply extra force in doing so as it does take some effort to disengage the cartridge assemly from its seated position.
After the cartridge is removed, you may find some jamed paper inside. simply remove it and the printer should work again.

This is a paper jamb problem. There is a piece of torn paper stuck in the paper path that is stopping the printed page from exiting properly.

Have you tried shutting it down completely? Also, double check to see if the inside of the printer is completely clean. This is usually something that you can get from the manufacturer of your pc / motherboard. This tends to be part of the chipset drivers. Go to your manufacturer and look under support for the drivers.

Have a look at the fuser. This is seen by opening the rear hatch as if removing a paper jam. There is an Orange pressure roller and another roller which may be a brown or metallic colour. If the surface of the second is damaged or caked with toner, that is the source of your problem. The fuser can be cleaned if necessary, but is not really economic to replace. If the fuser is OK then there is a cleaning brush inside the Drum unit that needs to be cleaned and the drum cylinder should be cleaned with alcohol and cotton wool.

Presumably you want to make transparencies. There are Transparencies available specifically for Laser printers and Copiers. Do not use anything else or they will melt around the fuser and wreck your machine. Fixable but expensive.

You probably need to replace your toner, or there might be a problem with the printer itself. If toner replacement doesn't help, consider contacting Brother for a repair quote or buying a new printer. Good luck! -AB

Try increasing the fonts size before sending to print.

f the Drum LED is still lit after replacing the drum unit, the Drum counter may not be reset.
Reset the Drum counter as follows:

1. Open the front cover.
2. Locate the control panel button under the LED lights on the left side.
3. Press the control panel button until all lights are lit, then release it.
   The Drum counter is now reset.

Could be that there are a mark on the drum itself or some dirt, remove the drum unit and inspect the surface , by rotating the drum , becareful not to touch the drum as it will leave marks on the surface
