I had a similar problem with my 42 in Philips LCD HDTV.

Here was the problem. My Power Supply Board had several bad capacitors. I opened my TV (warranty was expired of course) and found four bulged capacitors on the PSB. Many major electronics companies Philips/Magnavox, Sony, Panasonic, and others were sold capacitors that failed in 2-5 years instead of 10-20. The capacitors fail prematurely due to a lack of preservatives. Unfortunately, they were installed in all sorts of devices and cause a wide range of failure problems.

Here are some options for you.

1. Have it fixed by a professional $$$$$$$??????? (Is it under warranty?)

2. Open your TV and find PSB. (The board that the power cord plugs into) Check for faulty caps. If you find some (bulged or leaking) bad caps replace the entire board. The entire board costs around $250 right now because they are in high demand right now. They can be found at tv-part.com but supplies are limited. I would definitely shop around though.

3. Remove and then replace individual faulty caps. This takes some soldering skill.

Caps are inexpensive and if you can take care of it yourself it will save you hundreds.

This may be your problem. If you determine that it might be.

You need a converter plug an "F" connector, on the end of wall cable to "Belling-Lee" in Rear of TV, the "Antenna" socket. Then simply, plug in and scan for channels as usual.

To display a computer on a flat panel you need to match up the resolutions. go into the computer set up and make the display 720p or 1080p depending on what your tv is (the computer will read 1080x1900 and probably not say progressive unless you are using a aftermarket program instead of window). I do however recomend NOT using a plasma as a computer monitor as they WILL burn in. Even on brand new models the only brand I have found that has truely made it hard to burn in the TV is panasonic.

If the LCD light on your Zenith CD/DVD duplicator is on but it is not showing as "ready," it is possible that there is an issue with the duplicator's internal components or settings. I have a sony bravia TV(MODEL:KDL50R550A) I dont know How to reprogram my ZP505 ZENITH Universal 5in1 remote control to it.

you might have to initiate the tray opening mechanism and as it's trying pry the tray forward and force it open it might fix it.

The hotel mode is set by the remote control , not the control panel.

Is the tv blinking a code on the light in the front of the tv. If so go to manualslib.com input the model number and look up the trouble code in the manual for the tv.

Is tv smart tv

Do you have the remote? If you do, it should have a quit button for menus like that. The remote is either the MBR3457 or MBR3447. It's on eBay for $10. It is possible that both of them may work for your TV model.

A common practice in the TV industry is to include the size in inches in the model number. Often, a model will be made in different sizes, for example, z42pj240 may have a z50pj240 family member. They will use the same main circuit boards and remote controls. Check the list in your universal remote control manual for a variant like that.
