lstiff,
You don't say what system that you need the audio to be sent to so I will presume that the system of choice at least has composite inputs (red and white).
If where the audio from your tv is going does not have a digital coaxial input, the digital coaxial output from the tv can be converted using a external purchased converter online; they relatively cheap items.
The easiest way is to just use the composite wires as most likely all of your units have these inputs and outputs.

No sound from speakers
Hi,
• Make sure the audio input cable is connected to the music center SPEAKERS A outputs,
the black connector is fully seated in the music center SYSTEM CONTROL 1 jack, and the
multi-pin connector is firmly seated in the Acoustimass module jack.
• Make sure the module power switch is in the ON position.
• Turn the music center off for ten seconds, then on again, to reestablish communication
between the music center and the speakers.
• Check the connections for any external components. Make sure to select the correct
source for the desired input.
• Check the speaker connections.
• Be sure the CD is placed correctly, label-side up, in the music center, and the cover is closed.
• Increase the volume.
• Check to see if MUTE is lit in the display. Press MUTE on the remote to unmute the sound.
• Disconnect any headphones.
• Connect the FM and AM antennas.
Note - Bose systems can be difficult. If you unplugged an active speaker, it is possible that it is in a type of protection mode. I would recommend that you unplug the system from power for about 5 minutes. Also I would suggest unplugging the multy pin din plug connecting your controller to the sub. After this if it does not reset I am going to recommend the old "call bose tech support"

Hi i am having a problem with my cd player, it
sounds like the door has jumped a tooth on the drive gear. it will never line a disc up properly. you need to get it back to its original location try jumping it forward or backward one tooth at a time. opposite of which direction it was forced. this is very tricky who knows how many teeth it jumped. trial and error. just remember one tooth at a time till u get it right.
How do i get surround sound from my tv on
You might get mulitchannel audio from whatever the TV is watching (cable/satellite/dvd), but not from the TV itself. Try running audio from the cable box to the Bose.

Hello
Ok, i alway suggest this sollution when prompt with this problem.
You can buy yourself a multi adapter. It has different voltage settings as well as different amperage settings.
It is very cheap and the reason why i suggest this is you can use this adapter for almost any household device which needs an adapter.
Hope this can be helpfull.
Kind regards
Andrea

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
On most Bose Acoustimass designs:
- remove the "2 screws" at the case at the back (as you have done / posted);
- remove the LFE (low frequency enhancement) and BASS knob;
- set the unit in its normal upright position;
- with the use of a flashlight, look in the top seam of the unit at the rear towards the gap between the plastic and the wood (where the plastic case joins the main body);
- there would be 3 latches / locks to disengage along this seam;
- there is a thumb latch that is a rotating 'snail cam ' at the end of the unit opposite the cable connections described as a thumbwheel which turns to the left & exposes the tab;
- this would then disengage a simple tee'd section on the wheel which stops the case sliding down;
- note that as long as the tab is visible, the lock is disengaged;
- with the use of a flat bladed screwdriver, turn the lock until plastic tab sticking out;
- on both left & far right of the seam are simple lever latches which must be pushed back towards the main body to allow the rear case to slide down;
- push these 2 in;
- the back should then slide off.
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.
