I had similar problem with my S350. It was a component which had failed. I found a place that fixed it at a reasonable cost. It is ACT Electronics in Long Beach, CA. I don't have phone number but you can google it. It is run by a person from India. You send him the radio with a $30 check. He then assesses what is wrong, gives you a price to fix it, send him a check, then he fixes and sends you the radio. He did a fine job for me. Good luck!

Most likely damage to the solid state components, some are protected from this but it all depends.

You will need to contact Grundig for this, but really doubt they will supply it unless you are a repair shop that that is authorized to repair their equipment.

U can maybe get the manual from the Grundig web site but I do not know about the schematic.

Hi, you will have to get the unit checked properly as i can take its not working properly .If it still is working properly i would be keeping an eye on it just maybe a problem crops up.

most likely there's a defective component (like leaky capacitor). it could be 'toast ' if you can't replace said component

With old radios it worked to connect the antenna to some central radiator or (metallic) water pipe. Some old wire was used to connect it;

Simple wire can make a great antenna, and it's relatively inexpensive. I've had the best shortwave and AM reception thus far using a long loop (actually a rectangle) of copper wire as an antenna (but folks shouldn't try a loop with some radios designed for use with powered antennas without inserting an appropriate capacitor in series). If you do try wire, you would want to try to make the loop shape as large as possible, and connect the ends of the wire to your radio's antenna connectors.

The Power Supply voltage could be low..If you're using battery, replace them with new ones...otherwise check the power supply voltage as per specification of the model.

The radio can use D or AA batteries. There is a switch inside the battery compartment that selects the type of battery.

I cannot tune AM/FM stations because I think Gang Condensers set may have been failed? Looking for solution and replacement parts for the problem.
