I haven't had a remote

Here is the manual for your TV. I see a Game Mode when referring to Picture control, but I'm guessing you are trying to get it to switch the the RCA input for Video/Audio on the front of the TV for your game console. Doesn't look like there is anything on the TV specifically, as it references the remote to press "Game" mode. But I would try scrolling down through the channels. Sometimes TV's have the auxiliary input below channel "1" or "0".

Whay is the universal remote code for this model

Hello
Three digit universal remote codes for symphonic are:-
033/ 053/ 189
Four digit universal remote control codes for symphonic are:
0053 0189 0227 0456 0024

Direct Code Entry
  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.
Code Search If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.

I have dish network and

Hopefully after 3 months this has been resolved, but if not, here are some simple steps to take. If you are in TV1, where the receiver box is, you want your tv set to channel 3 or 4. Depending on the cables you have, you may need to put your tv on an input. Usually Video 1 or 2. If you are at TV2, the location away from the receiver, you will want your tv on channel 60 or 73. If neither of these work, try to unplug the receiver from the power source for about 10 seconds. Hope this info helps.

How to get universal remote to turn the tv to game

Hi,

I don't know if this can be done with a universal remote, but if you can let me know which brand and model of universal remote you are using, I will check if it is possible. If your universal remote has an "AV", "SOURCE" or "INPUT" button, try these but make sure the game system is switched on so you are able to see if/when you have changed to the correct mode.

If you don't have the original Symphonic remote, you should be able to switch the TV to game mode using the buttons on the front of the TV as follows:

1. Switch the game system on
2. Press the "MENU" button on the front of the TV
3. Highlight "PICTURE" using the CHANNEL UP/DOWN buttons
4. Press the VOLUME UP button once to enter the PICTURE menu
5. Highlight "GAME MODE" using the CHANNEL UP/DOWN buttons
6. Use the VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons to set "GAME MODE" to "ON"
7. Press "MENU" to exit the menu and play games.

The menu should automatically close anyway if you don't press any buttons for about 15 seconds.

When you have finished playing your game, repeat the above steps to set "GAME MODE" back to "OFF" and return to watching TV.

Hope this helps. Please post back for further assistance if needed.

Regards,
BElectric.

I do not have the remote anymore and i cant get

Unfortunately, you can't. You need a new remote which matches the function. A substitute remote is available here: http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=Search&o=c&uid=0&m=ST419E&uuid=12914397886630 . A programmable remote may be a good alternative (the ones programmed via a USB connection to a computer). Otherwise you'll have to check the replacement remotes carefully to find a game function and the correct code to make it work. (A code that only turns on and off the TV won't help you much.)

I hope this helps.

The picture is fine but the sound is not working.

Hello
Picture being Ok, and no sound output, means there is some problem inside the sound output circuit of your TV. It may be due to a speaker fault or an IC fault. You have to find out which of these has fault.
You just place your ear very close to the speaker side, and switch on your TV with its AC mains On-Off switch, not by remote control handset. Listen carefully, whether there is any sound output of any form comes out of it or not. If there is no sound at all you can determine that the speaker may be out, not in all cases. If you have the habit of listening your TVs audio by using a headphone, continious in-out action could damage your TVs headphone socket. If the headphone sockets' contact got damaged, no sound output will come from it to the speakers. Suppose you can hear the sound through your headphones but not throuhg speaker, means that its change over contact has some trouble. You just do this first. Insert a headphone pin into your TVs headphone socket, if provided, al listen to it for sound. If there is no sound from headphone also, Sound output Ic iside your TV has damaged, or not getting proper voltage to it. If there is sound through the headphone, and not from TVs speaker, trouble is related either speaker or the above said socket.
If all the above has no effect, that is no sound either from headphone, of from the speaker, you should go into the circuit board of your tv to get the fault.
Open your TVs back cover, and trace for the sound output section. There will be an Ic used as sound output. Check whether it getting heated some time after switch on the TV. If it overheats without any sound output, it is damaged Desolder it out from the circuit board, go for a same type and number, replacing it will solve the problem. If it doesn't overheat, or no heat at all, check its input voltage. In some cases, loose soldering points on the legs of Ic may also the cause. Check it too. Ok.
If you need any more clarification, ask me through Fixya. Give
a brief explanation about what you have done so far also.

Look all around the tv for a button called input. Some tvs require you to enter a menu to change input, but you should be able to change via buttons.
