DATE IMPRINT IN D7000
Neither the D5000 nor the D7000 will deface your photographs by scrawling a string of numbers across them. However the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with each image in the file's EXIF metadata. If you want to print this information, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your photos. Depending on the program and printer, you may print this information on the image, in the margins, or on the back. For example, if you're creating a DPOF on the D7000 itself, the instructions are in the "Creating a DPOF Print Order: Print Set" section of the camera manual (page 189 in my copy).

Hi,
The focal distance on Pentax camera's is different then the focal distance on Nikon's so because of that Pentax lens' can't be adapted to work on a Nikon camera. I'd suggest finding a similar lens with a Nikon mount as cross brand mounting is quite difficult.

did you try taking the memory card out of the camera and putting it directly into your PC to download the pictures?
The other problem could be, is that the memory card was never formatted correctly. Once you get the pictures off, if possible, reinsert the memory card into your camera, and search thru the menu for formatting the memory card. I do believe that could solve your problem.
With my nikon d7000 camera
Try pulling the battery out then replacing it and trying again. If that doesn't work reset the factory settings by going to menu, setup menu, reset user settings.

Hello.
The date/time stamp can only be applied to a print using the camera in
pict bridge mode.
When you plug in your camera directly to your printer, a new menu will appear on
your camera and you will see the time/date option appear. At that point
you can choose to include it when you print your picture.
So, I finally figured out (with your help) how to
You should only have to press the button twice to take a picture. In the BULB setting, the first press opens the shutter and the second press closes the shutter. With the long exposure NR turned on, it doubles the picture taking time. If you take a one-minute exposure, for example, the remote will be ignored for a minute after the second press.
Try turning off the long exposure NR just to see whether two presses do the job. If it doesn't, please feel free to reply to this post and provide any additional information you can.
I cannot download my photos
ViewNX2 doesn't do the transfer, that's done by the Nikon Transfer program.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

Hi,
On the D7000 you need to press the button on the side of the camera that's in the middle of the AF/M switch and then you use to switch to decide whether it's in 1 point autofocus (hence forth called AF), 9 point dynamic area AF, 21 point dynamic area AF, 39 point dynamic area AF, 3D tracking AF or auto area AF. If you need more help with switching AF modes let me know and I can help you out =)
I'm trying to upload photos
To upload to either you'd need to connect the camera, with the SD card in it, to the computer. The SD card slot on the printer is meant to print pictures directly off it, not to be able to transfer photos to a computer.
