If a board has been hot it is likely the electrolytic capacitors will need replacing. Look for bulges on the tops of the capacitors. That's where I would start if you don't have a qualified technician.

yes - pull it out - twist the lock closed - tip upside down and shake it into a plastic bag - it will get awfully messy if you don't use the plastic bag.

The machine keeps track of what paper was reqested last, and asks you to change paper if the new job is different. I get the "put media" message and have to open and close the drawer if my next print job requests a different paper. So I suggest you gently open and slam the drawer a couple of times, or see if you can find the sensor switch that monitors whether the drawer is open. Also check if your paper guides in the drawer are clicked in place.

In order to fix the issue, you should do the following steps.

Unplug the power cable from the printer and wait for 3 minutes.
Plug it back in and turn on the printer, also check if any hardware part is not loose and if still the issue persists its a hardware issue contact the manufacturer.

Completely uninstall the printer driver and install again. If this does not work, there is a corruption in the windows registry or in the print spooler cache files.

For a temporary workaround, disable print spooling. But, if you do, you will need to remember to never close an application you print from until printing is actually finished.

The only way is to bypass is empty out the waste box (and the small clear window).

Hi please find above top, your user manual, below that, is your driver link, this is most likely is a driver issue, so try downloading the correct driver for your system and installing it again, as Administrator, then try printing a test page, to prove the install.

no there is no silicone in konica minolta toners.

This is a laser printer and not an inkjet printer. Cleaning the "Print Head" isn't an option and putting alcohol on the printer's toner cartridge isn't the answer either. Minolta indicates that it is likely the yellow toner cartridge is bad. I have had a magenta toner cartridge exhibit the same problem. I just had to replace it which solved the problem.
