Rangemaster Classic 110 (Dual Fuel) Dual Fuel (Electric and Gas) Kitchen Range - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I have a 4 year old range master classic 110
Hello Jeff,
it seems to me a problem with the timerfunction of the clock.
Clocks are the most source of problems, so when I refurbish a cooker and the timer does not work properly, I shortcut the timer as new clocks are very expensive.
In that case, the clock itself stays working.
For doing this, you need to lift the hob.
BE CAREFULLY, AND BE SURE THERE IS NO TENSION ON THE COOKER
I hope this will help you and I wish you a good weekend and a nice meal with your friends. Dik

Need to convert my rangemaster from ng to lpg but manufacturer is saying our model is unconvertible - help
Hi Helen.
Especially if you have a rig that calls itself Dual Fuel, it would seem that you should be able to convert. I looked up a manual for the Classic 110
http://www.rangemaster.co.uk/media/868812/toledo-lidded-110-dual-fuel.pdf Page 23 of the PDF (19 of the manual pages) specifically talks about there being conversion kits to swtich to different fuels. It also underscores that this should only be done by a certified gas engineer.
That said, my experience from shopping appliances for our house remodel several years back was that some sales people just stared blankly when we asked about running stoves on propane (we're a bit out in the sticks, no Natural gas hookups). Others would look at the same equipment and say 'oh, you need the converter fixture, which was more or less a flow restrictor to keep the energy content about the same as for the NG (propane is a bit higher energy content than NG).
In short, you should be able to convert between fuels, and the manual from the company itself says so.
Good Luck!

How do I clean the glass on the inside of a rangemaster toledo stove
I just cleaned the inside glass on my maytag "gemini" and you take the inside door panel off, thencarefully lift out the glass and clean it.then reassemble. I found it easier to remove the door and lay it on thekitchen table with a blanket under it. Hope yours is similar as I suspect it is. Good luck and keep smiling. Please rate me...Thanks

No electricity going into my rangemaster classic 110 duel fuel
Check your breaker panel or fuse box to see if something is tripped. If you have a breaker panel, try flipping the stove breaker off all the way even if it looks like it is still on and then turn it back on and check stove. If you still have no power then you probably better call an electrician.

Glass lid fit is not level, how can it be adjusted?
The glass lids usually sit in a frame with a sealant under them, you can remove and reset it carefully by using two small screwdrivers to go around the outside using the screwdrivers to (gently) like tyre levers lift it out. Take your time doing this be gentle and it will come out then put it back in square.
good luck Ray

Cooker makes popping noise when off
It\'s possible you have a slow leak through one of the rail cocks ( gas taps) lift off the top and spray lightly some soapy water on the end of each of the rail cocks if it bubbles you have found the leak.

Faulty plate warmer on rangemaster 110 dual fuel
We have the same problem on a Rangemaster Toledo 110. It is not a fuse.
The 'Hot' light still comes on because that is a different (parallel) circuit.
Examination by a competent electrician has found that the soldering for the wires that power the warming metal strip under the glass is faulty. You will have to ask for a replacement part.
There may be a design flaw, so you might want to enquire about the professional all gas burner top and just use the griddle as a warming plate over the second wok burner.
Good luck.

I have no electric to my Rangemaster. The electric
You should try and reset the breaker. Press firmly to the off position then back to on. if you have a voltage meter, you can check for the 220volts at the wall. if the range still does not work, then you need local help to troubleshoot the machine.
