Screen went black on Vizio 42" plasma TV

The cost to repair it might not be a worry, parts for those types of sets are not available, the plasma style sets are replaced by LCD/LED.

VIZIO VO42LF says no signal when connect to PC after power on/off

Could be a sensitivity problem, have you tried to switch tv modes back and forth, sometimes if you do that it will save you from restarting the computer. I had a tv about 10 years ago that had a sensitivity issue, went to see about fixing it, unfortunately, the tv brand was no longer in the country and user service parts were not available.

How do i download a dvd from tv to pc

There are two ways to do this:
1. Put the dvd in your computers dvd drive and use a DVD Ripping software to save the movie to your hard drive. This is the easiest (and cheapest) way to rip a dvd movie. Here is a good list of the 5 best DVD Ripping software.
2. Buy a capture card for your computer and record from the TV. This method is more expensive since a good capture card costs 100$+, this is also more time consuming because you would need to connect your computer to the TV and watch the entire movie while recording.

I have had a problem

This is most likely cause is overheating, the plazmas use fans to keep them cool and they are subject to overheating issues, all plazma's not just Visio. Chech to see if you can hear or see any cooling fans running in the back of the set.
Do you get any flashing coded on the front of the set? if your vizo p4 blinks red 10 times its your power supply board ckeck your two fuses on the board,if those are not bad change your power supply board if you can find a board for that model vizio p4 .the phillips tv uses the same board.
If the fans are running and no flashes on the power indicator then the only other possible thing can be your sustainer is getting bad. Sustainers are the two boards mounted vertically on both sides of your TV. Its function is to power up your screen. Changing these two parts will resolve your problem. you can get parts at vizparts.com or vancebaldwin.com
The x and y sustainer boards run around $150.00 apiece so you might want to weigh your options and look at newer sets. i know 4 years does not seem long enough to own the set before it craps out, but you have been fortunate with this make and model. Most don't last that long.

I had a vizio 42in plasma repaired at a tv shop

Your plasma set basically had the gas in it escape. Its pretty much worthless at this point. I would definitly take it up with the repair company and demand a replacement tv.

My inner screen is shattered....

Yes, everything is fixable but at a price. In my opinion, it is probably not worth it as the screen is the most expensive item inside your TV. Not only that but it is also the most labor intensive part to install.

How to restore apps the Harwa smart tv doesn't wanna open for apps

If your Harwa smart TV is having trouble opening apps, you can try a few troubleshooting steps to restore the functionality: 1. **Restart the TV**: Sometimes, simply restarting the TV can resolve temporary glitches. Turn off the TV, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on. 2. **Update the TV's Software**: Make sure your TV's software is up to date. Check for any available firmware updates in the settings menu of your TV. Updating the software can often fix bugs and improve performance. 3. **Clear App Cache/Data**: If specific apps are not working, try clearing their cache and data. Go to the settings menu of your TV, find the Apps section, locate the problematic app, and then clear its cache and data. This will reset the app to its default state. 4. **Check Internet Connection**: Ensure that your TV is connected to the internet and that the connection is stable. If your internet connection is weak or unstable, apps may have trouble loading or functioning properly. Try restarting your router or connecting to a different Wi-Fi network. 5. **Reset Smart Hub or App Store**: If the issue persists, you can try resetting the Smart Hub or the app store on your TV. This will restore the default settings and may resolve any issues with app functionality. Refer to your TV's user manual for instructions on how to reset the Smart Hub or app store. 6. **Factory Reset**: If none of the above steps work, you can perform a factory reset on your TV. This will restore the TV to its original factory settings, removing any customization and potentially resolving software-related issues. Keep in mind that a factory reset will erase all data and settings on your TV, so make sure to back up any important information before proceeding. 7. **Contact Customer Support**: If the problem persists after trying the above steps, you may need to contact Harwa customer support for further assistance. They can provide additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for repairs if necessary. By following these steps, you should be able to restore the functionality of apps on your Harwa smart TV.

My television will suddenly turn off every 4 minutes or so and when I turn it back on it will do it again. I need help to stop this please?

It sounds like there might be an issue with your television or its power source. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the Power Source: Make sure the power cable is securely plugged into both the television and the power outlet. Try plugging the TV into a different outlet to see if the issue persists.
  2. Check for Overheating: TVs can sometimes overheat, especially if they're placed in an enclosed space or if vents are blocked. Ensure that there's proper ventilation around the television.
  3. Check the Remote Control: Sometimes, the issue might be with the remote control. Check if any buttons are stuck or if the remote's batteries need to be replaced.
  4. Reset the TV: Unplug the television from the power outlet for about 5 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes reset the TV's internal system and fix minor issues.
  5. Check for Timer Settings: Some televisions have timer settings that automatically turn off the TV after a certain period of time. Check your TV's settings menu to ensure that no such timer is enabled.
  6. Update Software: If your TV has a software update option, make sure it's up to date. Sometimes, software glitches can cause unexpected behavior.
  7. Inspect for Physical Damage: Look for any physical damage on the television, such as frayed cables, cracked screens, or damaged components.
  8. Contact Manufacturer Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or recommend repair options if the TV is under warranty.

How to remove child lock from BELTEK TV?

general steps: Get the TV remote control and push the "Menu" button and select "Options". Select "Child Lock" from the "Options" list. On some televisions, the "Child Lock" is named "V-chip". Choose the "Remove Child Lock" selection. Highlight this and then hit the "Enter" button. Enter the four-digit code that you used when you activated the child lock feature. If you cannot remember it, your only option to deactivate the child lock is to reset the TV. The instructions for resetting a TV is written on the user's manual of the TV. Exit the TV menu once you have entered the four-digit code. To do this, press the "Exit" or "Menu" button on the TV's remote control. If you don't have a remote, you might try leaving the TV unplugged overnight. Some TVs will 'forget' their settings if left without power for a long period. You could also potentially buy a cheaper universal remote, and use that to turn off the child lock.
