You may download a copy of the manual here. The self-timer instructions are buried in the "Setting the Drive Mode" section on page 45. Set the drive mode to the desired delay.

Yes it does!

The camera has a self timer and burst mode that you can set on the DRIVE MODE function in the RECORD menu.

From the Record Menu,

step 1. select drive mode
2. use the keys to select your desired speed
3. press okay to save changes

you are still in warranty period. you can bring in back to store and tell them what happened, they will send it to a service center, and you will get it repaired or you will get a new camera

I put the CD in

Click on read me first and read it. Then, click(sometimes you need to double-click) on user guide. If it does nothing, drag and drop it into your desktop. Do the same with polaroid studio and the video editing software. Decide for yourself if you want the facebook, twitter, and you tube.

I have the Poloaroid i1437

The lens assembly is jammed or defective. Check to see if the camera is still under warranty, if not your best bet is to buy a new one - repairing these devices is difficult.

Trying to find the self

It's configured in the drive mode menu. From the record menu, select drive mode. Use arrows to move through different options. The stopwatch with a "10" in it is a 10-second self timer.
