Hope this helps... i would try contacting them first, and see if they can help you with a simpler way to recover your password or change. so you dont lose any data, or run into any more tech. issues with your product.
if you dont chose that rout; well unless you can remember what your password their really isn't a true hack around it to be able to safe the data on it. how ever i can tell you how to make it where you can use it again without the password.
note: if you chose to go this method it will no longer ask you for a password when you try to view the files, and you will lose all data on your drive. It sitl will be usable, )
I will how ever leave in the instructions on how to reinstall the v-chip password protection thing back to the drive but I don't guarantee that part of this process, but i do on the format of the flash drive.
Plug your USB Drive into your computer, then go to:
Control Panel / Administrative Tools /
Computer ManagementThen once in the Computer Management Window look on the left under "Storage" and click the + to expand.
Find your USB drive on the list to the right.
If you right click the drive on the list, you'll have several options including the option to format it.
I've found that sometimes this works better then just right-clicking the drive from the My
Computer area as you have more options.
(at this point the flash drive should be operation, it just wont ask for passwords anymore. EVER. tell u do the next step.)
then you can reinstall the passowrd thing software at
I would try reloading the Store 'n' Go application and see if it helps.... You can download it here....
