My flashdrive write protection switch
These drives are software protected with password. Put the USB drive in a PC, enter your password, then remove password protection from the USB drive. This should solve the problem.

Forgot password
When you click on the Vsafe100 file and are prompted for a password, click on the HINT button at the bottom. Hopefully you entered a hint to remind you of the password. If not, buy a new USB drive and create a good hint, then back up all your USB drive files to a PC regularly. Live and learn. :)

I have a small red Vernatin USB memory stick and forgot my pass word ! what can I do to get back the content ?
Always backup your files from the USB flash drive to a computer, since these removable drives will always either break, get lost, or get stolen. Sometimes a flash drive will prompt you for a password and there will be an option for giving a HINT. Click on this option and see if you left a hint on the drive. Passwords are there to prevent theives from stealing your personal information and data. There are supposedly applications that can read protected files without the password, do a search on the Internet for one of these.
