I have windows 8.1 desktop. Microsoft works is supposed to autosave my documents every 10 mins. How do I get access to the autosave files?

If you are in Microsoft works already then you are already seeing the saved work. It will only save documents every 10 minutes you are working on. If the program crashes, then you will still have the file, the last time it saved it, when you re-open the file. Since all other files have not been altered they are safe and don't need to be saved. You can also adjust the saving time options, making it shorter or longer for the time a file needs auto-saving.

Sometimes the software under Windows and using the Windows uninstall option is not working properly. To "beat" this fact I'd suggest you to download and to install REVO UNINSTALLER on your machine. It's free and not only it will UNINSTALL the software, but it will clean up all the remnant things after the uninstall will be done (like the REGISTRY allocations).
The FREE REVO UNINSTALLER is HERE.

If you don't have a physical printer, youcan just install any printer from the drivers available in Window. Go to Start- Control Panel - Printers and Faxes and then click on Addprinter, then on the next screen disable the checkbox with Automaticallydetect and install my Plug and Play printer, click next, you can leave thedefault LPT1 as the port for the printer, click next and then on the inthe new window you can choose a Manufacturer and a Model for yourprinter. Choose for example the HP as the manufacturer and some deskjetprinter model and then click next, leave the name of the printer as is andclick again next. In the final page disable the option to print a test page bychecking the No option. Click next and then Finish. After the driver isinstalled you must see the name of the printer in the Printer and Faxeswindow as the Default printer. Now you can use the option page previewin any software with this option enabled. If you move your work later onanother computer with a physical printer attached and you want to print yourwork there, it is best to use the same printer driver for your computer. Ifnot, any printer will be ok for just previewing.

Microsoft Word document not printing correctly.

You can get a good copy by downloading OpenOffice here:

It's a free full blown office suite that is better than MS Office (in my opinion). the copy and paste your document into open office writer. It's compatible with virtually every version of every major office suite ever made. Then when you have your copy you can uninstall it if you choose to. It will work. You can even turn it into a pdf if you want to.
Good luck
