did you delete the original install before reinstalling? you should be able to upgrade the win 8 to win 8.1 thru the app store

Problem solved thank god !!!!!!!!!!!
I downloaded something called combofix from www.Mybleepingcomputer.com to resolve a different issue with my comp ..and guess what afte rrunning this mp3 rocket works again doesnt want me to install adobe all the time
