I need help with an excel formula.

=INT(A1)+0.95

With A1 being the reference to the cell you wish to round up
What that does is first round down the number to a whole one then adds 0.95 to the figure

Hope this gives you the information you need

You will not be able to legally obtain Microsoft Excel without cost, however you can download and install OpenOffice for free and that includes a component that functions just like Excel and can open Excel documents, as well as Word etc.

"Delimited" gibberish in Excel

You could try to change the whole workbook font to a known good one or do it a sheet at a time by doing a "select all" then setting the font.

It sounds as if though you are trying to import a web page including the HTML code which may well cause the problem you see.

I prefer to do that type of thing with a
"Get External Data"
"new web query"
which will put things into a sheet in such a way as you can use them in other calculations

Whenever you open the sheet it will go and get the latest information for you automatically so you can then select what you want and copy that to another sheet. to use to keep track of things.

My excel file was working yesterday, but as of

Shouldn't be a date issue... did you open the file the way you normally do ?
Something has changed here... bad shut down with this file opened... maybe.
Open Excel and pull down the File Menu and see if there are more than copy or version of your spreadsheet. Look at all...
File could have corrupted the Font or could be a Virus. Try just changing the font in one cell.
If this is your only copy of the file... make a copy to see if it works on another machine... that will isolate the problem... it may just be corrupt... the fix is Excel healing it on it's own when it opens.

Don't know what my product key is for microsoft

If you have the rest of the Microsoft office programs already installed and running, the number is the same. just activate it in the help dropdown. If you just bought it, the number is with the packaging. If you don't have it, contact Microsoft and they will provide tha number when you register your product. You will need proof of purchase so they know you don't have a pirated copy.

Text and nos. in one cell, nos. to be used to create formula.

It is possible to do this using the right function.

I created your cells into a worksheet and it is very simple, although I have assumed that the last 3 characters in your cell will be the didigts you need for your formulae.

=RIGHT(B4,3)/1000000

Where the initial text contains more than 3 digits you can adjust for this in the in the formulae with everying else remaining the same.

Autosuggest Possible to use in Excel

As long as your list in Excel is formatted without missing cells in column format with a header in the cell directly above your first list time. i/e if your list is in Column A and you have 500 entries, I am assuming Cell C1 is the column header, and cell C501 is the last item of your list.

An easier way to view items similar would be to go to Data/ Filter and automatic filter.

In the arrow or list format in Cell c1 - select custom, in the pop up box you can filter the contains to highlight smaller elements of your list.
