1. Position the document on your scanner.
2. On the File menu, click Scan New Document.
3. In the Scan New Document dialog box, select the options you want.
   • To select additional scanning options, click Preset options, and then click either Create new preset or Edit selected preset.
   • If you want to scan a double-sided page, select the Original is double sided check box.
4. Click Scan.If you selected the Original is double sided check box, the Scan New Document dialog box reappears as necessary.
   
5. If you selected the Original is double sided check box or the Prompt for additional pages check box, click Done to save the file after the last page is scanned.
   

Note By default, OCR is performed automatically when you scan documents. To turn off this feature, click Scan New Document on the File menu, and then click eitherCreate new preset or Edit selected preset. On the Processing tab of the Preset Options dialog box, clear the Use OCR to recognize the text of the scanned imagecheck box.

If your password was not many characters long (up to 8 or 10) you can use one of the password recoverer programs available on the internet (eg. Advanced Office Password Recovery etc.) Just google it, I am sure you will find the proper program.

Since you did not specify, I am assuming you are using Outlook. Follow the procedure below:

In Outlook, click on Tools, Options, and click select the Mail Format tab. Check the box "Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages". Click Apply and OK.

I am a long time user of yahoo, and most of the time it is a great service, but it can be buggy at times.

Whenever I get an error when trying to load my yahoo messenger or my yahoo mail page I do this:

1. close out yahoo and all internet browsers
2. Run a program called CCleaner (get it here)
3. install the program and Press Analyze
4. now press "Run Cleaner"
5. Select Registry tab on Left side of screen
6. Select scan for issues
7. Select Fix issues (run this until no issues are found)
you should now be able to succesfully connect to your yahoo mail.

Try using scandisk on the Floppy. Better still get a memory stick - floppies are notoriously unreliable, slow and small.
