The only way I know is to tell the machine to trim off 1/8 more of the cutting edge. This is none in the driver itself not the machine.

This may be the error code for the piece that reads the image, i. e. the Lens CCD aka Charge Coupled Device. This is a light sensitive integrated circuit, i. e. a sensor. If the sensor has failed, you can't scan. That looks like a repair or replace the copier problem. It might be a problem with the Image Input Terminal, or you might try cleaning the glass or seeing if there is anything blocking the lens but at the end of the day, consultation with a Xerox tech is likely.
