Installing a main board into a TV
If you have the tv and it is intact then refitting is a reversal of removal. Make sure it is unplugged and switched off. I would take anti static precautions even though it is a high voltage component.
You could always video the deconstruction and labe all the parts with masking tape oe something.
Good Luck it you take the task on, you can always have a technician do it for you if you decide against it.....but that is no fun!!!
Remote sends tv crazy
The volume controller may have been damaged from a power surge or internal disturbance; not related to the a remote control. Your TV has a set of External Out connections, usually RCA jacks colored RED White and/or Black. Red and White jacks are relative to Right and Left Speakers when an attached cord with RCA male connectors are used and connected to an Amp or some type of receiver. You should be able to use the TV OUT Audio to a small Amplifier and connect to a set of inexpensive speakers or any external speaker set. This method bypasses the TV's Internal speaker system as an alternative measure.
I have a LG dvd
player 5083 inserted the disc the correct way into the draw but the machine does not play the disc a very slight humming noise is heard then it spits the drawer back out
Clean the Lens: Use a DVD cleaning disc to clean the lens. If the problem persists, consider professional cleaning.
Test Other Discs: Try playing different DVDs to see if the issue occurs consistently. If it's specific to one disc, that disc might be the problem.
Check for Updates: Make sure your DVD player's firmware is updated. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for firmware updates.
Try a Different TV: Connect your DVD player to a different TV to see if the noise disappears. If it does, the issue might be with your TV.
The hum is simply the player trying to read the disc. It can't so, it spits it out.
Remember that prolonged use of a malfunctioning DVD player could potentially cause damage. If the problem persists, consider seeking professional repair or replacement
