In your printer first check your software and printer driver setup have a mismatch or not.Then on the printer properties, Page Layout tab, a "reduce/enlarge document" setting that something had set to A4, check that. There are too many places to change things and software that messes with buried printer settings.

There are several ways to print on 4-by-6 photo paper. This article explains the quickest way with Windows Vista and Microsoft Word 2007. When purchasing photo paper, be sure to verify that the type you buy will work with your printer. Some types of glossy photo paper may be able to work only with inkjet printers. If the printer paper is used on the wrong type of printer, it is possible the printer may be damaged Open Microsoft Word.

Add the picture or information that you want to print to the photo paper. To add a photo to Microsoft Word 2007, follow these steps; 1) Click the "Insert" tab; 2) Click the "Picture" option in the "Illustrations" section (the "Insert Picture" window will appear); and 3) Browse your computer for the picture you want to add. When you find the picture you want to add, click on the "Insert" button in the "Insert Picture" window. The picture will be added.

Hi rosvehenson. You did not mention what OS you are using. So here is what you can do:

Go to this site (EPSON's TX100 website):

http://tech.epson.com.au/downloads/category.asp?sCategory=Multi_Functional&id=StylusTX100&SelOS=Y

Choose the OS you are using (whether it is windows xp, windows 7 etc...)

Put a check mark on "drivers and utilities.

Click on search. Then click on continue.

Now you can download the right installer for your printer from there.

With the printer on but not busy (flashing light), open the scanner unit. (Lift the scanner until the bracket on the right locks.)

If the cartridges are completely expended:

Press the Stop button on the printer, the print head should move to line the expended cartridge with the empty ink mark. Press Stop again and the next empty cartridge should line up with the mark. Continue to press Stop until the print head moves to the cartridge replacement location (after noting which cartridges need to be replaced).

One cartridge at a time, shake the new cartridge 5 times before opening the package.

Remove the new cartridge from the packaging and remove the yellow tape from the cartridge. Be careful not to damage the hooks on the side of the cartridge and do not touch the green IC chip. Leave the transparent seal in place.

Squeeze the tab at the back of the cartridge you want to replace and then lift the cartridge up. Then put the new cartridge straight into that slot and press down until it clicks.

Repeat this for all empty cartridges. Then close the scanner unit and press Stop. Wait until the light stops flashing and the empty ink error light goes out. The unit will charge the ink system while the light is flashing.

If the empty ink remains flashing or is on with the print head in the home position, then a cartridge may not be properly inserted. Press Stop and then push down on the cartridges. See http://support2.epson.net/manuals/english/spc/stylustx100tx101/guide/html/ink_4.htm for pictures and images.

If the ink isn't expended, use the Ink Replacement utility in the Epson software. For Windows, this is part of Printing Preferences in the Maintenance tab. Open the Devices and Printers (slightly different name in older versions of Windows) control panel. Then right click on the printer and choose Printing Preferences.

Go to printing preferences of your printer, simply clicking start, settings, printer and faxes. Look for epson tx100 right click and click printing preferences and click maintenance. Then run print head alignment 4x and head cleaning 4x. Then try print test.
