The wire antenna is removeable without breaking it. The ends of the wire that are inserted into the back of the unit are bent (L-shaped) inside the unit. With the back of the unit facing you, gently slide the left end toward the center and lift out. Then slide the right end toward the center and lift out. If, at the moment you turn your carkit on, the sentence 'Pairing mode' isn't announced, press and hold the answer/end button for some 5 seconds, until you hear that announcent. the Jabra Cruiser is most likely not compatible with your iphone 5. Apple makes their products to connect only with their products most of the time. ive tried connecting my tracfone\'s bluetooth to my ipod touches bluetooth and cant pair them. Xbox 360 pulls the same issue too. so you probably will have to purchase a different car cruiser
