Check if u have install audio drivers from the motherboard driver cd. If u have not installed, install it. If already installed it check for a newer version of the driver file with the motherboard manufacturer's web site. If you find it diffucult. Post me the details of the motherboard, or the total pc specfication, including the OS and Service Packs. i will provide u with the driver file.

I just bought toshiba laptop c650-18f microsoft
Usually a trial version of 2007 is given with every laptop after the trial period 2007 asks for product key. you have to buy the key from microsoft, or other partners selling the product or you can uninstall the product and use another version you already have.

I am computer start them os very long time
Use Tuneup Utlity Software to clear unwanted files on the c drive.
u can use this to also remove unwanted programs, registry entries, etc. this will definitely speed up your system. also check if a lot of programs load at os start up. you can also remove unwanted programs loading during startup.

Recovery CD for Windows XP Media Center Edition
HI there,
If you go to eBay and type "windows xp media center edition" into the search window, it will shunt you to a page where there is a full install retail disc there for sale now for $55 plus shipping.
If your machine is a Dell, they offer a little known "One Time Only" recovery media replaement for free. Go to this page and fill out the information and for your reason for the replacement choose "Missing/LosIf/Damaged media. If they write you that the machine is out of warranty, write back and explain that Dell has extended this courtesy for years and perhaps the agent should speak with his supervisor. This has worked for me 100% on at least 50 Dells I have repaired.

My parents have a Gateway
When a desktop computer continuously restarts, it is typically an issue with the computer's power supply not being able to put out enough power to boot up the computer. (It takes more power to start the computer and get everything loaded than it does to keep it running.)
Usually this is caused by a faulty power supply, and the easiest solution is to replace it. New power supplies can be purchased for $30-$50... just make sure you get one that is compatible with your computer.
However, if you're having power issues as well, you might want to check the outlet where your computer is plugged into if you have a voltmeter or multimeter. If the voltage coming in isn't within the standard range (about 120 volts, plus or minus a few) the power supply won't be able to work correctly.
Your surge protector might also have been fried. Try plugging your computer directly into the wall outlet (bypassing the surge protector) and see if that makes a difference.

My hard drive crashed cannot activate product key
Try the key on the sticker instead of the one on the box (should be the same mind you) also check your windows versions as it could be you've been missold or have been given the wrong windows product by your computer retailer.
If your really stuck then download and install Ubuntu and then install openoffice (which is much better than Office and free!) and you don't need to worry about Windows.

Hello,
Try to boot your Windows 7 bootable DVD and check for errors and then restart. Keep Tapping F8 until you see the safemode options. Then get into the safemode and goto command prompt type the chkdsk c:/r after that a process completes and then try typing fixboot thats it. It will work. Let me know if the problem cant be resolved or if you have any doubt.

When I boot I get at times
If the system tells you the the HAL.DLL file is corrupted or has been modified in any way, run a simple repair installed.
HAL stands for Hardware Abstract Layer. It's a blueprint of the hardware installed in your computer at the time Windows is installed. It was one of MS failed attempts at stopping people from ghosting their OS installations to other computers, but the fail part is that all you need to do is run repair install and it will create a new HAL.DLL file with a new image, negating the issue entirely.

Media center does not play cds or dvds please help
You have to check your CD/DVD Rom to make sure the device is not faulty.
Open your Windows Explorer, insert any CD/DVD to see whether your CD/DVD is able to read the the disk.
If it cannot read the disk, most probably the CD/DVD rom is faulty and you have to replace it.
