Yes. When using an AC adapter, please use the one suitable for the voltage level of your destination country. North America, Taiwan: AC adapter AC-1L; Europe (except UK) and Singapore: AC adapter AC-2L; UK and Hong Kong: AC adapter AC-2L; Japan: AC adapter AC-1L. You may have to switch video output mode between PAL and NTSC to view images on the television.

Batteries last

The battery performance depends on the brand of battery. Alkaline batteries last approximately 120 images with the LCD monitor display on, and 140 images with the LCD monitor display off, according to our test result. Full size image: Approximately 48 seconds for Super Fine images, 5 seconds for Fine, 2 seconds for Standard, 1.5 sec for Economy Half size image: Approximately 12 seconds for Super fine images, 1.8 second for Fine, 1.5 second for Standard, 1.3 second for Economy. The recording time may vary according to the scenes.

After the focus is confirmed, the Shutter-release time lag for the DiMAGE E201 is approximately 0.4 second. If the shutter-release button is depressed in a quick motion without making any pause to confirm focus, approximately 1.9 second is necessary.

The maximum print size for an E201 image is approximately A4, when printing at 150dpi. For Photo-quality prints, we recommend printing at 300dpi, no larger than postcard size.

Image quality when manually

High or Normal settings are selectable with the DiMAGE E201 for camera sensitivity. Normal is almost equivalent to ISO 85 and high is almost equivalent to ISO 340. High is useful under dark conditions as the flash range increases (0.6 to 5m), but noise increases with sensitivity as electric signal is more amplified, which may result in coarse image. Please select the rating that best suits your purpose.
