Replacement flash card connector
I had the same thing happen... broken pins. I purchased a card reader at Wal-Mart.
Take your pics, pop the card out of the camera, pop it into the card reader and plug into your pc to upload.
Please help...I can't take any pictures!
Possibility one : lens unit faulty and proper focus is not being achieved camera goes into error mode because of this and then it switches off to prevent further damage.( replace /repair lens unit )
Possibility two: shutter faulty . Lens delivers proper focus but when you try to take picture goes into error mode because shutter not coming on line or malfanctions. ( replace shutter only ).
High battery consume
Short in the camera so you do not get proper switch off even when you switch the camera off ( so it stays on all the time ). Or your charger is not fully charging your batteries which then go into your camera say half charged and dont last very long.

Answer:
Please follow the procedure below.
While the message is displayed, press the center of the controller. The monitor display and data panel will turn off.
Turn the Main Switch dial to OFF position and remove the CompactFlash from the camera.
- When "No Card" message appears next time when the camera is activated in the recording mode, the camera and CompactFlash are OK.
- When "Card Error. OK" appears again, the CompactFlash may be faulty. Use other card.
Camera dying?
CCD problem is the likely cause here and once you have another one put in camera should work fine.
Minolta Dimage S414 Problem with resulution
What you are seeing is the difference between "pixel count resolution" and "embedded resolution". So in your example 2272*1704 is the actual pixel count resolution as recorded by the camera & 72 is the embedded resolution that tells the software (in this case photoshop) what the intended use of the picture will be. 72 ppi is the default for web pictures. You can change this in photoshop by going to the "Image" tab & select image size. The window that opens will show you the pixel dimensions i.e. pixel count resolution and the document size & resolution 72. You just change it to 300 for printing. You can change the default to 300 by going "edit", "preferences", "units & rulers" and setting the values for "new document preset resolutions".
This is a complex subject, I recommend looking at the following web page:

Camera not switching on
Take batteries out .
Find a pencil with an eraser on the end, and with the eraser 'polish' the contacts at the base of the compartment.
Also the contact strip in the lid.
If this model takes 2 AA batteries find a piece aluminium foil to 'pack' the lid out.
If it takes 4 batteries make sure two pieces of foil across each contact.
Replace batteries -give it a whirl
If no joy press the battery compartment lid in firmly an try.
Still in trouble Then this is a more serious job for a repair shop
However do get on to the Technical Support at Konica[Now Sony I believe] to see if any other remedy is available.
How do I clear pictures off the memory card?
The best way to remove all pictures from the memory card is to format it. This wipes all data from the card and prepares it for further use.Without knowing the model of your K-M camera I can't give you the exact procedure for formatting the card, but there should be a command somewhere in the menu system, probably under "Setup".
Konica Minolta Dimage Z6 working fine, but Windows 11 wont recognise it. Any ideas please?
If your Konica Minolta Dimage Z6 camera is working fine but is not being recognized by Windows 11, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the USB cable: Make sure that the USB cable you are using is properly connected to both the camera and the computer. Try using a different USB cable to see if that resolves the issue.
- Check the USB port: Try connecting the camera to a different USB port on your computer to see if the port is the issue. Some USB ports may not have enough power to detect the camera.
- Install the camera driver: If the camera did not come with a driver disc, try downloading and installing the driver from the manufacturer's website. Make sure to download the correct driver for your camera model and operating system.
- Restart the computer: Sometimes, restarting the computer can help to resolve issues with USB devices not being recognized.
- Try a different computer: If the above steps do not work, try connecting the camera to a different computer to see if the issue is with the camera or the computer.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it is possible that there may be a hardware problem with the camera. In that case, it may be necessary to contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for further assistance.
