After my two minolta cameras
- Batteries in the right way?

I recently bought a Minolta X-700 but I have found
Ah, the X700, I used one for years until it just got to the point where it was worn out. As you are aware these cameras are mostly in the 25 year old range and if they have not had proper tune ups and maintenance done it is likely that it has issues, and likely had them when it was sold to you. Your best bet would be to take it to a reputable camera repair shop and have them give you an estimate.
Hi,
I recetly purchased an X-700.
There's a little silver ring on the inside with two little notches in it. try putting a toothpick or something small in one of these notches and turning it to the right to tighten it.
MY MINOLTA X700 WONT TURN
Hi,
Check your battery first. Make sure it working well.
If still fails, you have internal problem and need a service on dealer.

My shutter stopped working on my minolta X 700 how
It sounds like the same problem I had your capacitors need to be replaced. They store the energy needed to fire the shutter when you depress the button. Most camera shops are aware of this problem and the can obtain the parts. The replacement requires camera tear down and soldering in the parts. If you don't feel comfortable doing this then take it to the repair shop.

Can you trip the shutter?
If the shutter does not release, usually the camera repair shops would replace the shutter release capacitors.
Minolta Electroflash 360px will not fire.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news sounds like my camera! The capacitors are notorious in these cameras they dry out if you don't use the cameras regularly and they need to be replaced most camera shops are aware of this. The parts are available to them on micro-tools.com if they have a hard time sourcing them. Hope this helps
I took the lens off my Minolta x-700 camera, and a
If the piece is actually the shutter then the camera is now junk, sorry. Repairs are not economically viable and the parts are no longer available.
But I doubt it's the shutter as the shuuter curtains are either fabric or metal.
If you can't post a photo, then by all means take the camera to a repair shop and they'll tell you what the part is and where it goes.
I checked the TTL flash contact at the right side
This could be several things. From loose/dirty cable connectors to circuit board issues. It could totally be just the age of the batteries and capacitor in the flash taking a long time to charge, making it look like it took full power. Put in new batteries or take out the old ones, rub the contacts on your jeans, and put them back in.
When you quit laughing, this actually works. It removes that thin patina that develops on the battery terminals over time.
It's also possible that the flash sensor is dead, but that's the least likely item.
I have a minolta x-370 film camera and the film
first make sure the batteries are fresh. Also if you cannot go to a camera store for battereies, DO NOT let any drugstore of grocery put 357 watch batteries in it. The 357 battery is the same size and voltage but does not have enough power to run a camera. If the battery is not the problem then it will have to sent to a qualified repair facility. This is not a user repairable problem.
Have multiple Minolta X-700 bodies, the 400mm
If your other lenses lock on to all of the bodies, then it is quite likely that the notch on the mount edge of the 400mm is worn. The notch is located about 90 degrees clockwise from the red marker dot on the lens barrel. I doubt if there are new replacement mounts for that lens. You may be able to square up the edges of the notch with a small file.
What type batteries for minoltax-9
It uses either two 1.55V silver-oxide (SR-44 or equivalent) batteries OR two 1.5V alkaline-manganese (LR-44 or equivalent) batteries OR one 3V lithium (CR-1/3N) battery.
