Leave the screw in a setting that the engine sounds a little rough 5) use the same procedure with the H screw (at full throttle) 6) now throttle up from idle does the engine pick up quickly? settings are good does the engine stumble and then finally begin to pick up? No, it is a return line to the tank from the primer. It sounds like the hoses are reversed. The fuel should flow from the tank via the main fuel line (with the filter)( sometimes the main line is smaller than the return line) to the carb, fills the carb then to the primer bulb, and from the primer bulb back to the tank. With just enough fuel in the tank to cover the fuel filter start pressing the primer bulb. Check for fuel coming out the short hose into the tank. If instead the bubbles come out the filter and the primer goes dry try reversing the lines at the carb and/or the primer bulb and try again until you get the proper flow pattern.

i take the new piece of hose cut it down to 1'3 its size about 1/2 long then feed a stiff wire threw the hole and out threw the cap opening slide the hose over the wire and pull it back when the hose pops threw remove the wire and pull the hose threw pt the fuel filter on the end before pulling that one all the way threw
