Yamakawa DVD-238 DVD Player Questions & Answers
I had sound yesterday. left on all night - no sound today
Sounds like you did hit a button on your remote. More than likely it's an audio button on the remote. This button typically selects an audio track on the dvd itself. It's either this or somehow during setup you've selected (depending on the rest of your audio setup) either the bitstream or PCM output for sound. I would just try hitting the audio button until you get something, or go into your dvd setup and try changing from either bitstream or PCM to the other choice.

How to restore apps the Harwa smart tv doesn't wanna open for apps
If your Harwa smart TV is having trouble opening apps, you can try a few troubleshooting steps to restore the functionality:
1. **Restart the TV**: Sometimes, simply restarting the TV can resolve temporary glitches. Turn off the TV, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
2. **Update the TV's Software**: Make sure your TV's software is up to date. Check for any available firmware updates in the settings menu of your TV. Updating the software can often fix bugs and improve performance.
3. **Clear App Cache/Data**: If specific apps are not working, try clearing their cache and data. Go to the settings menu of your TV, find the Apps section, locate the problematic app, and then clear its cache and data. This will reset the app to its default state.
4. **Check Internet Connection**: Ensure that your TV is connected to the internet and that the connection is stable. If your internet connection is weak or unstable, apps may have trouble loading or functioning properly. Try restarting your router or connecting to a different Wi-Fi network.
5. **Reset Smart Hub or App Store**: If the issue persists, you can try resetting the Smart Hub or the app store on your TV. This will restore the default settings and may resolve any issues with app functionality. Refer to your TV's user manual for instructions on how to reset the Smart Hub or app store.
6. **Factory Reset**: If none of the above steps work, you can perform a factory reset on your TV. This will restore the TV to its original factory settings, removing any customization and potentially resolving software-related issues. Keep in mind that a factory reset will erase all data and settings on your TV, so make sure to back up any important information before proceeding.
7. **Contact Customer Support**: If the problem persists after trying the above steps, you may need to contact Harwa customer support for further assistance. They can provide additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for repairs if necessary.
By following these steps, you should be able to restore the functionality of apps on your Harwa smart TV.
My television will suddenly turn off every 4 minutes or so and when I turn it back on it will do it again. I need help to stop this please?
It sounds like there might be an issue with your television or its power source. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
- Check the Power Source: Make sure the power cable is securely plugged into both the television and the power outlet. Try plugging the TV into a different outlet to see if the issue persists.
- Check for Overheating: TVs can sometimes overheat, especially if they're placed in an enclosed space or if vents are blocked. Ensure that there's proper ventilation around the television.
- Check the Remote Control: Sometimes, the issue might be with the remote control. Check if any buttons are stuck or if the remote's batteries need to be replaced.
- Reset the TV: Unplug the television from the power outlet for about 5 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes reset the TV's internal system and fix minor issues.
- Check for Timer Settings: Some televisions have timer settings that automatically turn off the TV after a certain period of time. Check your TV's settings menu to ensure that no such timer is enabled.
- Update Software: If your TV has a software update option, make sure it's up to date. Sometimes, software glitches can cause unexpected behavior.
- Inspect for Physical Damage: Look for any physical damage on the television, such as frayed cables, cracked screens, or damaged components.
- Contact Manufacturer Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or recommend repair options if the TV is under warranty.
How to remove child lock from BELTEK TV?
general steps:
Get the TV remote control and push the "Menu" button and select "Options".
Select "Child Lock" from the "Options" list. On some televisions, the "Child Lock" is named "V-chip".
Choose the "Remove Child Lock" selection. Highlight this and then hit the "Enter" button.
Enter the four-digit code that you used when you activated the child lock feature. If you cannot remember it, your only option to deactivate the child lock is to reset the TV. The instructions for resetting a TV is written on the user's manual of the TV.
Exit the TV menu once you have entered the four-digit code. To do this, press the "Exit" or "Menu" button on the TV's remote control.
If you don't have a remote, you might try leaving the TV unplugged overnight. Some TVs will 'forget' their settings if left without power for a long period. You could also potentially buy a cheaper universal remote, and use that to turn off the child lock.
