Geez people....
Y'all are giving codes for remotes and trying to tell how to replace parts... all they asked for was the service code.... to access the service menu.
The answer to their question is to take the factory remote and press MENU button... then just highlight the AUDIO icon... then press 8893... and THAT will automatically open up the Coby TV's factory service menu.

The standby power supply is working but not the rest, it can be due to bad caps in the power supply, or it is detecting shorted circuits do it stay in shutdown mode. You need to do in-depth troubleshooting, please read my guide first.

Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current, long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.

Dead pixels in the LCD wafer; common issue with LCD televisions as they age. Replace the LCD wafer or consider purchasing a new television.

unfortunately the coby company has gone out of business probably because they have produced an inferior product that has had many problems, many people are posting problems with these sets. it is better you just purchase a different brand of tv and leave this heartache causing product behind.

if you have tried the remote and manual button on the set and there is power at the wall then a circuit in the set is fried

if the blue light is on then the set is on but there is a problem with a circuit that provides picture

There have not been "reset buttons" in TV's for decades to my knowledge - they were too slow to react in solid state sets, and were expensive to boot. You would be better off in my opinion (after working on TV's since 1976) in buying a better brand of TV. I've had good luck with Vizio for value and reliability. Other brands to consider that I'm familiar with are LG and Samsung, A website that makes comparasions easy has been Best Buy. Just stay away from their knock off brands, and do cross checks with Amazon and others.

This might not be the button. On a lot of televisions and other electronic devices, the power supply goes bad and it appears to be the power button.
