TV turns on the only screen that shows is LG Life's good and can I change from that screen tried hard reset tried soft reset nothing seems to work

maybe the power supply is open or defective. just ask an assistance in qualified technician from LG to fix your problem

make sure your tv aerial plugged in back of tv and your tv is on the dtv setting before trying to retune it. the sky box is usually on the scart or hdmi setting. hope this helps

Plug video and audio outputs of DVD into the corresponding video and audio inputs of tv. Set tv source to correct position and voila - it works!

I can only assume you mean that the power light is flashing, not that there is a flashing light showing on the display panel. The speed and number of flashes you get is the troubleshooting code to tell what's wrong with the set. More info is needed.
