Mitsubishi HS-U430 VHS VCR - Page 6 Questions & Answers
The picture on my Mitsubishi WS-73411 TV goes off after an hour or so. I checked the error code on the flashing LED's and I get a 23. Any solutions?
The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size
I have a Mitsubishi tv model 60738 and I replaced the bulb but it still wont come on it blinks green for a bit then flashes 6 red and 1 yellow do you know what is causing this thank you
These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Surf the site with patience. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Counting of number of blinks to Philips TVs is entirely different to that of other brand TVs. It is not a direct count procedure. The site have details about how to count the number of LED blinks [Fault Codes] to Philips brand TVs are given; along with details of the faulty circuit location.
I have a mitsubishi perfectape vhs player. I was wondering how i adjust the tracking on the player so the tapes don't jitter when they show the picture? model number HS-U580
Do you have the model number available? It should be on the back or bottom of the unit. Before adjusting, clean the heads and verify that the tape is running at the proper height past each head. There are three head assemblies to inspect: the rotating video head, the stationary sync head, and the stationary audio head. The sync signal is on the top edge of the tape and the audio signal is on the bottom edge. If the sync head or an adjacent guide pin has come loose, that could cause tracking problems.
Caution: the video heads are very delicate. They're located in the slots at the bottom edge of the rotating drum. Use a foam-tipped swab with straight isopropyl alcohol, and gently wipe the heads in the same direction as the tape goes (do not wipe perpendicular to the tape direction; you could snap the head off if it snags on the swab).
