The PB-250 will not start.

It is very easy to flood this item mind you its easy to flood all petrol trimmers. If plug is wet simply turn the switch to off and pull cord at least 15 times you should get the engine to start coughing keep pull cord but do not turn the petrol on do not prime it either. It should catch. If it does not push the primer once and pull cord

Whats going on with my pb 200 starts but wont stay running air filter is soaked with gas

You probably have the needle in the carb not shutting off or going back to shut off the fuel. What you need to do is rebuild the carb and most lawn shops can sell you a kit to do that. You can see videos on youtube.com as to how to do it if you are not familiar with the rebuild process it is not hard to accomplish. The kits are around $8.00. Hope this helps.

Echo pb-251 won't run with out choke

I would say that Daren is on the best track here for repair. Myself i agree with the fact that your carb has some sort of blockage. Start with a good carb cleaning. Good Luck....

What's mis ratio for ECHO PB-400E blower

Two very good answers, if you go to use the 50:1 ratio you will probably not be wrong most new stuff mixes with the 50:1 ratio these days if your not comfortable mixing the gas, Menards has premixed can for sale, as do most of the big box stores. Very good for novice mixers who don't want to keep alot of fuel around and let it go bad. Great alternative to mixing!

My echo pb-251 leaf blower won't start and sounds like a slight backfire - what is the likely cause?

Consider the flywheel. This model uses a flywheel with a built in key. If that key is bent or broken the timing would be off which would explain the backfire. You can source a replacement unit from eReplacement parts. Unfortunately the flywheel is 44 bucks and you have to be able to dismantle the unit to replace it. These blowers cost 200 dollars new. So you have a little wiggle room here. If the flywheel is good you may have a bad coil which can cause timing problems or weak spark. But those are 76 bucks so look at the flywheel first.

Blower does not get any fuel. Installed new carb

One question: Is the unit equipped with a primer? If so what does priming do? If it wont prime do the following: Check your fuel lines to verify they arent collapsed or blocked. Also replace the fuel clunk in the gas tank. Check fuel cap vent for blockage too. Finally, make sure the fuel lines havent been crossed. Good luck and be careful!

Sounds like fuel line problem. Empty fuel tank, remove black fuel line grommet, check for line break or disconnection. If line is broken , purchase fuel line kit with grommet as a set if lines or grommet are deteriorated.

My blower only runs with 3/4 choke even after warm

Look on the carb for 2 screws side by side. where those screws go into the carb, it will be stamped with an "H" and "L". Open the screw that is next to the "H", counterclockwise about 1/4 turn at a time with the engine running, that should solve it.

E-250 purchased in 4/2010. Last

You need to pull the hose from the tank and check it. Also check the carborator. I would pull the carb and soak it in oven cleaner for about 10 minutes. Spray it very good then rinse it well. That should clear things up.
