Pe200 echo edger i have replaced the carbuator, fuel lines, primer ball it runs for about a minute then shuts off acting like its starving for gas

  • Did you replace the fuel filter in the gas tank on the end of the suction line? Also check the air filter and make sure it isn't clogged. When you press the primer bulb you should see gas being sucked thru the carburetor and returned to the gas tank if the fuel lines are connected properly. check the exhaust muffler if it is clogged the engine wont run very long if at all. if all else fails there is a fuel screen filter in the carburetor you may be able to backflush with carburetor cleaner.

Good quality two stroke oil at 50-1, always use a branded oil from a known two stroke engine manufacturer, Echo, Husqvarna, Stihl, always avoid super market oil or unknown brand names.Never keep fuel for more than a month as it will deteriorate and due to Ethanol in today's fuel can form condensation and water in the fuel, there are now pre mixed Alkalate fuels available which have a very long shelf life and is ready to use ( Aspen, Husqvarna Power 2 )

Disassembly of echo 58V trimmer hedge. I got a cord wrapped around the area above the trimmer head and need to get it off to get after the cord

try google search for this: youtube echo 58V hedge trimmeryou may find exactly what you are wanting to find - in a video put together and posted by another user.it isn't clear to me what the problem is - you mention a 'cord' wrapped around the head - but the Echo58 is a cordless rechargeable hedge trimmer, isn't it ? the models showing when I googled Echo 58 were cordless battery operated.here is the link you requested, no idea why a google search on 'echo 58 hedge trimmer' wouldn't find it for you. this is on disassembly of a echo 58 hedge trimmer.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=db5ovORHN9A

Echo Srm 230 bogs down at full throttle. Replaced carb with oem.Removed muffler no carbon build up. removed spark arrestor. adjusted high jet on carb still bogs down

search --workshop manual for Walbro carburetors down load the pdf version search --workshop manual for Zama Carburetors down load the pdf version the high speed needle is set first ( one closest to the air filter) to obtain smooth high rpm running then the idle needle ( next to the engine ) is adjusted as you slowly slow down the rpm final idle speed is achieved by adjusting the throttle screw and should be just slow enough that the centrifugal clutch is not engaged

not possible for the timing to be off most small engine starting problems are from faulty diaphragms in the carby It will be either a Walbro or Zama carby so take it into any mower repair shop and they will have the diaphragms in a kit for you
