Sounds like a Cable problem or what is going through your tuner. Since the other inputs are good, because when you have a convergence problem it will effect all inputs. So if you have another cable box to try, do it first and then you can start eliminating things.

That front screen is what Mitsubshi calls the Diamond shield. Every set is differant but easy to do. Look carefully at the top and the bottom or the lrft and the right, fr clips that run the entire lenth of the top and the bottom or the entire lenth or the right or the left side. They bsimply snap into place. Mitsubishi says to gently insert a small screwdriverbetween the diamond shield and one end of each on of the two clips and gently pull off the clip. Good Luck

Hoping you did not have electric overload that damaged the power supply, try unplugging the set and push the button On until no lights indicate anything. Then wait about an hour so the capacitors would empty themselves further. Next plug it back in and see if this worked.
