The touch screen could have lost its calibration, but there is a good chance that it is bad, and needs to be replaced. To calibrate it, push the yellow clear modes key, then the numbers 1, 9, 9, 3, then push the red "Clear / Stop" key 5 times, and choose number one. Follow the prompts. Use a stylus or other dull pointed item. If you don't get a response, you need a new touch screen.

go to sp mode by pressing reset 107 then press stop for a few seconds then inter copier sp then inter mode then search for clear user .......then press it then press execute then tern the machine off the on i hope that well help u

Most fuser problems have to do with the fuser lamp and or the thermistor, or the thermal fuse. If you can put you hand near, and I did say near, because the fuser is very hot and can burn you, you should feel heat. Use an inferred thermometer to pick up heat. Should be around 225 degrees F +- a few degrees. If no heat detected the lamp is bad or is not receiving voltage. The thermistor detects heat from the fuser roller, it lays on it, and sends a signal to the logic to turn up the voltage to the lamp or turn it down. The thermal fuse could be open hence not voltage to the lamp. Last but not least no power from power supply or no signal from logic board to turn up the juice. Hope that helps.

This IS a fatal kernal error, of the controller, the ONLY hope without changing the controller/hard drive, is to power down unplug copier,( I turn power back on with it unplugged) this bleeds off power in the caps. I have had this issue 3 times this year. -Carl

sc329 on the MP4500 is a laser pitch error. The most likely fix is either to have a technician initialize the laser beam pitch adjustments or examine the laser unit to make sure none of the harnesses are getting in the way of anything.

Hard Disk Drive - identical to the one in your computer (but probably a different size). It is where the images are stored when making copies. If you have a failure, then it is probably reporting that it cannot read or write to the hard disk.

The problem you are having is that developer has fallen down into that area good luck once this has happened the box must be taken apart and blown out...  good luck
