E5 is the error of the fusing unit chech the thermistor

sc 500 is the main motor error. replace the main motor at the back. it will solve the problem.

your machine needs servicing. the laser unit and drum unit needs servicing. tell me where do you stay. if you are in new zealand then do email me on [email protected]

kindly replace your photoconductor unit

If the paper is not getting out of the tray, the rollers need cleaned.
The scratches. If the paper jams in the hot area. You will need a new hot roller.
Also the scratches may be coming from the drum. Sometimes it is hard to determine between the drum and fuser hot roll.

that is a fuser overheat code. You can try pressing clear all, then enter 107 and hold the stop button until you see the SP mode come on the machine, then as it is in that mode, shut the machine off and back on.
If that doesnt work. I would suggest replacing the fuser unit.
You would need thermistors, rolls, overheat thermostadts.
Individually they would cost more than replacing the fuser.

Does it only occur when you feed through the document feeder?
Not when you print of copy off the glass?
If it only does it then, clean the small strip of glass on the right side of the machine.
If it does it all the time then you need a new drum.

If the line goes to the very edge of the copy its the fuser or drum if there is a line that leaves a 1/4 inch to the edge of the copy then its in the optics. -Carl

Check with your local repair man. Very likely have to replace the touch screen

enter SP mode. 2xfunction clear(yellow button) 107 hold down Red clear button. 1 to enter copier, 7 to enter data log, 810 to reset key operator code. Exit , This shoud work. If not give me a shout.

There is a bad thermistor in the fuser most likely.
You can try pressing Clear all then 107 and hold the stop button down.
That should put you into the SC area. Press copy sc then turn the machine off and on to see if it clears the fault.
Otherwise replace the thermistor.

Remove the back cover, It should be located directly on the right of the machine. Just requires a phillips screw driver. REMOVE POWER FIRST .
