it is trick part as ricoh does not go well with pc connectivity . u have to install the scan driver through cd and follow the steps

check the green handle for the toner extraction .it may be stuck or not be pulling the toner cap.if all fails then try to remove the cap of the toner bottle and then fit it,. the problem is with the toner extraction unit.try to blow it with air blower

Hello,
if the copier was long time without toner, you need to open and close the front cover few times until it stops blinking.
If these doesn't helps, you need to vacuum and clean the toner handle mechanism, because there are toner leftovers that obstructs the new toner pass to developing assy.

This code refers to the fuser Unit. The temperature does not reach to the stand values.
It can be several problems like a open Thermostat or a broken lamp (among other thing, but let´s not going that way yet).
Try this to see if it works:
Press yellow key
Press 107 on the key pad
Press red key at least for 3 sec.
Press "copy SP" and exit all the way out.
Turn the machine OFF and turn ON.
Even if this work i advise you to call your provider because something on the fuser is wrong.

E40 means that you have an open thermistor, which needs to be replaced.

I know what your problem is. But it's a matter of me properly conveying the information. Bottom line is that you you either have a corrupt print driver or the wrong print driver. A print driver is the program that is loaded on your computer (or your server if you have one) that enables your computer to communicate with/and submit data TO the printer. If the "driver" is corrupt or wrong, then the printer "MAY" still understand that it needs to print something.......but then you get the **** you are talking about. I have seen printers absolutley run the paper out of every tray printing squiggles and numbers and then ask for more paper !! So for example you have a Ricoh printer but you are using the print driver for a Xerox printer. The printer MAY recognize the command to "PRINT", but what it prints will be.....who knows? At this point I have answered your question. I would go further but you will need to remove the printer from your pc and reload and install the CORRECT/CLEAN driver. I am sorry I can't be your IT person. If I gave you further instructions I may do more harm than good. You have to change your network settings (IP, Sub-net mask, Gateway, DNS) for that router.

If you have tecnical treining try to unscrew 2 screws and assembley that strip.
