Try to leave it blank and hit Enter or if is not work,you need to manual reset your cmos battery to remove the password. feel free to ask.

Goto controll panel and uninstall touch pad software, or remove battery then insert again.

original from ja628 try this Hello, (1) Go to start menu (2) Click on all programs (3) click on Emachine (4) click on Emachine recovery management (5) Click on restore on the bar across the top (6) click on restore to system factory default It takes about 20 mins. this will only works if the recovery partition is still intact or you havent deleted it or format it in anyway. if the above process dont work, you can insert cd installer and choose repair then go to recovery option

Unless you know some one who can test your hard drive it looks like it has failed. To test your laptop hookup a "bootable" usb drive and set the bios to boot from usb. If it does then you need to replace your hard drive and reload all youur software.

Could be simply a blocked CPU vent, clear with a can of compressed air. Make sure Fan is spinning when you power up the PC.When the fan is spinning place the back of your hand by the Vent you should feel hot air. If you feel cold air the CPU heatsink may need to be reseated with fresh thermal paste. Worst scenario is the Heatsing has Failed and needs replacing.If the Fan is not spinning it may have failed or a lump of fluff has jammed it

Hi Andre,it sounds like you have a hardware fault, I would say either hard drive or ram, I would suggest trying these items in another machine to test functionality. Hope this helps.

install drivers from original cd/dvd

install drivers from cd or from product website.

Please take out the battery and the power adapter and press the power button the laptop for 30 seconds and then connect the battery and the power adapter.
