Make the Modem DHCP start at 192.168.2.20 to 192.168.2.254 and then make the Belkin router / modem ip address be 192.168.2.2 and the 882 modem 192.168.2.1 if you plan on using the two devices together on the network disable the belkin dchp server. if you are using just the belkin then the reboot or ipconfig/ renew will be all you need .
