Hi.WPA2 is a method for encrypting wireless connections.WPA2 passphrase is a password you can set in the routers configuration menu, so that others cannot access your internet connection/home network. It is highly recommended to use it as otherwise your personal data could easily get compromised (I suggest using WPA2-PSK).If you are asking this because you forgot/don't know your routers password then I suggest resetting it (pressing the reset button with a toothpick or pen for about 10 seconds) this will remove the password, and then you can reconfigure it by following your routers manual.

Maybe it has something to do with the internet protocol of your service provider. You didn't mention anything about your internet service provider. If you have Verizon DSL and you have a PPPOE internet protocol, you need to contact the technical support team of your service provider because they need to walk you through on how to configure the westell 6100 to bridge mode. I think if you connect a pc directly to the westell 6100 and open up a browser then go to 192.168.1.1, you will be directed to the modem's GUI where you can make the necessary changes on the settings of the modem.

Try resetting the router. Press and hold the reset button at the back of the router for 10 secs. then release. It will reset your login username and password to default.

Assuming that you are talking about an Ipod touch, just go into the settings app on the Ipod click on WiFi and make sure that it is on not off, then just choose your router, and if you have your router with a security code just enter it and you should be all set..

You can configure it with below method.Need to configure it .
Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. Then click on WAN settings set it as your internet service provider settings enable DHCP Then click on wireless and enable it. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. Reset your router back to it's factory settings by holding the reset button for about 5 seconds. I have provided a list of the most popular router brands. If it does not work you may need to google what your specific model's default IP address/default username/default passwords are, for example search for "Encore ENHWI-2AN3 default IP address" The default login info can change, it can depend on where you obtained your router. If you purchased it yourself from a store then the standard defaults should work. If you obtained your router from your Internet Provider you may need to contact your service provider. It also may depend whether it's an old or new model router as well. And you may need to press and hold the reset button on your router several times before it actually clears. Make sure you have a wired connection then once you have accessed your router simply run the Setup Wizard. Set your SSID as something you'll remember like "Mavericks Network" and your Password can be something like your phone number for example 3109876543

Very easy question, each router has its own default log in ip address that you can enter into your browser, or go to your network in win7 or vista and right click on the icon of your router and select go to router login page, If you are connected to you network this will work fine, also you can go to your network and sharing center then go to manage wireless networks find you network right click on it choose properties and click the security tab and your password will be linted in dots, just check the box to show characters and wright it down. If you simply do not have the key to connect and cannot connect, Please and hold the small reset **** on the Belkin for about 30 seconds this will reset your router to factory settings and the key listed on the bottom will now work.

You can find your Belkin WEP key on its bottom or back side, Normally all other routers are coming without password, but belkin asks its physical address has its WEP password,
you can change it's password and SSID by login in through internet explorer, both the username and password of router can find on it's backside, then follow some easy steps to change SSID (wireless name) and wireless password (WEP) min 8 charectors,

No, your computer should allow you to access your network when it's in range then automatically switch to his network when you are in range of it.

Make sure that your firewall is not blocking your internet I don't know what type you are using so in general just turn it off

It might be a stretch to do that distance, especially if there are a lot of walls or other obstructions in the way. However, if you still want to try this, you can purchase a device that plugs into a USB port that can receive wireless signal. They sell them at many different retailers and if you ask an associate, they should be able to find one for you. My recommendation for a router would be a Linksys WRT54G (any model in this series) because if you have some good technical skills and a little time, you can change the firmware to DD-WRT (http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/index) and have a ton of settings to mess with, including boosting the signal range. Even if you don't want DD-WRT on your router, the Linksys WRT54G model is a great, reliable model and you could probably find one for less expensive than other routers out there. Hope this helps!
