The batteries in the remote may be weak. replace The transmission window on the remote may be blocked, or the Infra-red diode may be inoperative. No digital signal is leaving the remote. The receiver window on the TV may be blocked, remove obstruction. Differential test. Does another remote control the tv? If you don't have one remember that the app "Peel Remote" for your smartphone may be used. Does your remote work on other electronic devices? If either is no then that is where your first problem lies.

hi there, yes there are some adjustmet pods them, but make a mark on it before you adjust so that you can turn it back again in case you lost control of the adjustmet. ty

I would get it serviced. There can be something wrong with it that might not naturally fail.

If a conventional picture tube type set it will have a high voltage transformer inside with a focus and "screen" control--in this case the screen needs to be adjusted up slightly.Adjustment is inside the set so you have to have back off and be careful as high voltage is present when set is on (need it on to adjust the screen control just up a tiny bit).
