Unfortunately there are a lot of similar complains on the Lenovo forum, but nobody found an answer to this problem at least till the date I'm typing. All some people could do is to set the computer to go on hibernate instead of sleep at the cost of a longer recovery time or installing a 32bit Windows version at the cost of not using all the cpu bandwith (the i3 or i5 processors work on 64bit). It's a reason many people should avoid buying this type of laptop.
I don't have your laptop but in the all programs menu there should be an utility for the webcam. If you can't find it, type webcam in the start menu. Any instant messaging software (msn, yahoo, etc) has a web cam activation button. You just have to look for it in the menu.
1.The fan should run as long as the laptop is on to keep your laptop's internal components cool. 2.Try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver
you will not be able to do that because if you format c: drive you will loose Win 7, you can though, partition the c: drive and then add winxp to the new drive which should be d: drive now by booting from xp disk and choosing to install on d: drive only Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/charles_c2f37a3461344482
Check the Device Manager. It should list the Network Adapters - one should be the wireless and the other for Ethernet. The wireless adapter should have a driver installed in order for you to get WiFi. Go to the Lenovo website, enter your model number and go to drivers download section for your wireless adapter if it is not installed. The website can also show you how to enable your wireless "switch" to turn it on.
Are you using Windows 7? If you are using windows 7, Follow these steps:
Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver you installed is for other versions of operating system. Before you install any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer then choose "troubleshoot compatiblity". It will allow you to choose what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.
you will need to download or purchase a piece of DVD burning software.
An excellent free version is called ImgBurn which you can download here- http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
you will then need to place a blank DVD into your DVD drive, locate the partition where your Windows installation exists (probably E drive) and then load ImgBurn and follow the on-screen instructions to create a burnable image from the partition and then run the image.
Check the Power Adapter and Outlet:
Ensure that the AC power adapter is securely connected to both your laptop and a functional power outlet.
If your laptop has an AC power indicator light, make sure it's illuminated. If not, try a different wall outlet (avoid using a power bar) .
Battery Charge Stops at 60%:
If your battery charge stops at 55%-60% and shows a "plugged in, not charging" message, it might be due to a power management setting.
Some Lenovo laptops have a feature that limits battery charging to extend battery life. To disable this:
For models with Lenovo Energy Management, Lenovo Power Manager, OneKey Optimizer, Lenovo Settings, or Lenovo Vantage:
Check if "Conservation Mode" is turned on. If so, turn it off.
If the issue persists, try updating your laptop's BIOS:
Go to the Lenovo support website, download the latest BIOS for your model, and install it.
Reboot your PC and check if the problem is resolved.
Hard Reset:
Sometimes a hard reset can help resolve charging issues:
Shut down your computer.
Remove the battery (if detachable).
Hold down the power button for 30 seconds (with the battery removed).
Reattach the battery, plug in the AC adapter, and turn on the computer. The battery should start charging .
If these steps don't solve the problem, there might be other causes.
Firstly, try turning over your Bluetooth mouse and find the power switch. Make sure it's turned to ON.
You should see the optical light turn on (usually red). Place the mouse back flat on your mouse pad.
On your Chromebook, select the lower right corner of the taskbar. In the window that pops up, select the Bluetooth icon.
If the Bluetooth status is currently off, enable the toggle switch to enable Bluetooth. Once enabled, you'll see a scanning status as your Chromebook looks for active,
nearby Bluetooth devices. When your wireless mouse appears, you can select it to pair and connect to it.
Once your Chromebook has made its connection with your Bluetooth wireless mouse, you'll notice the mouse pointer moving when you move your mouse
