sorry but there isnt. i do the same thing all the time. what i did to fix the problam is get a quick conect for my belt and put it on my keys.

It sounds like the turbo timer mode is active. In this procedure, the MTS remote starter is active, it's just that once set (after locking the vehicle) the vehicle will run the preset time(1,3,5 or 10 minutes) before shutting down. The MTS remote starter feature should still operate with the turbo timer mode.
