how old is the remote is a question to consider. the batteries might just be too low to send a strong enough signal for the truck's transponder to receive. does the remote need to be coded to the truck if not more than likely its weak batteries. the LCD display doesn't need much power to light up, but the remote does to send the signal.

Open driver door.

Push and hold "f" key until remote beeps.

Push remote start button once so "pair" appears on screen. Push and hold "f" until remote beeps three(3) times to select pair mode.

Insert key into ignition an turn to "ON" position.

Push and release "valet" button on antenna, push again and hold until remote emits a series of beeps and displays "passed"

The battery is probably dead. There is a guy on ebay that is replacing them. He fixed mine and it works great. The batteries dont last forever and you cannot just buy them they are a special type, also viper suggests you buy a new remote for $299 because they do not replace the batteries... how convenient. Hopefully that helps.

Press and hold the "f" button the remote for approx. 8 seconds. The screen will display remote setup. Press the Aux button to scroll up and the remote starter button to scroll down. Press and hold the "f" button to enter the selected feature, which would be page alert. When the option you want is displayed on the LCD screen (vibe, tone, both, off) press and hold the "f' to save. You can press lock or unlock at anytime to exit the remote programming.
You can also press "f" then lock or unlock to silent arm or disarm without going through the above programming procedure.

Try plugging the charger into an outlet then, plug the charger into the remote, remove, plug in, remove...Do this for approximately six(6) times or, until "charge" appears on the remote. When "charge" appears on the remote leave it pug up to complete charge.

Hi jasandeep,

I understand that there is no display on the screen when you start the car, the issue probably lyes internally, have you tried replacing with new battery? if that does not help then i would suggest you to bring your Remote start to an electronic store and ask them about your issue so that it can be solved or replaced free of charge providing you have the receipt. i am afraid nothing can be done on the internet to fix your device as it is a physical problem.

i hope this helps.

I have the viper rpn 7752v remote. I was away for a month and the remote completely died. I plugged it into the usb and nothing would happen. I called the installer and he told me a savvy trick. After plugging it into the usb, press the function button. Repeat this several times before it actually turns on. Repeated attempts eventually worked. He said even the manufacture doesn't know why this works. If you still need help you can email me and I'll refer you to a good installer. Tony@bostoninvestments.com. Tony Madan

Can be somewhat complicated to explain, particularly without knowing the make, model & year of the truck and which bypass was used to integrate into the factory systems. But here's one thing it might be. The Viper system is aftermarket obviously, when the alarm is triggered the siren with start to sound, and sometimes the horn will honk as well (depending on the vehicle and the bypass). If the siren isn't blaring that means the Viper system was disarmed when you unlocked the doors but not your factory security....or another way to word it is if only the horn is honking and no siren then you're factory alarm system isn't being controlled by the viper remote the way it should be. The factory disarm wire needs to be connected. It's a light green wire with a black stripe in a red connector in the Viper alarm brain. For anything more specific I'd need some more info on the vehicle. You can email me at jared@underground-audio.net if you'd like.

Can you tell me exactly what happens when you try to remote start your truck? What do you see and hear after initiating remote start? For security protection the remote start will not operate if the brake pedal is depressed, the interior light is on, a door is open or the hood is not fully closed. Have you verified the following are functioning correctly? If not please start hear.

ALL of these answers are TOTAL GUESSES! The fact of the matter is that it could be 1 of 5-15 possible things. Anywhere from a shorted sensor to a simple remote reprogram. If you want it FIXED CORRECTLY. Simply take it to whoever installed it(or a dealer near you) and they will have it, not only, taken care of. But they'll probably also explain what happened and other possible problems/glitches & corresponding remedies for the future. Bottom line...you start pressing and holding buttons without actually knowing what you're doing, or what's wrong. You could just cause more significant problems! Like locking yourself out & having to disconnect it! You bought it...enjoy the benefits of "customer service". While it still exists!
