Find your alarm module, it is a black, rectangular box with an antenna wire on one end. Remove any ties or fasteners holding the alarm in place and take it out from under the dash. All you need to do is simply remove the two connected wires to the ignition switch, and connect it with the car side of the two together. That would be a horn issue not an alarm issue

If the normal dash lights do not come on with key in on position (engine not running) then it most likely is a bad starter.

The alarm may not be going off. Rather it may be a malfunction of the relay that is driving all the sirens and piezo. Next time it happens check for flashing parking lights. They will flash only when alarm is going off. Also ignition input to the alarm prevents this alarm from going off while driving. Panic from the remote can still be triggered. Got to play detective....

the accessory 1 and or 2 wires from alarm brain are most likely loose or not connected at all to the accessory wires on the ignition side... hence the lights and accessories not coming on but engine does... if you installed it I would recheck those wires... if a shop installed it I would take it back to them... Weak vehicle battery. When the voltage drops the alarms microprocessor wigs out. It probably also has a state interrupted circuit which is keeping it from starting.

This sounds like a weak vehicle battery. Have the battery load tested.

If you follow this diagram, you should be able to locate your Valet switch. I have seen other questions like this and I believe that they have hidden the function by using an exsisting switch, seldem used(?), in your console. All you should have to do is eith tract the wire that comes from the port on the alarm modules body, or apply +12vdc to one of the leads identified for the valet function. Best of luck! I would highly recommend you have the Viper removed from your car permanently by an experienced professional or you will most likely have other problems later as a result of this item being fitted (if you ever get it working again which I doubt).

did you try to changing the battery in the remote? probably a 2032 battery

It is probably best to consult with the manufacturer or supplier in matters such as this Mr Garcia, they will probably have specific knowledge about that unit that is not widely circulated. It may be a faulty remote or the unit itself but will probably need to be diagnosed in the presence of a technician with familiarity of that model. GOOD LUCK

Sounds like its malfunctioning locate the alarm box under the dash locate the wires connected to the alarm box and remove the fuse that the red wires run in to this is the power fuse
